AVOID THE PHONE SUPPORT SCAM

A phone support scam begins by receiving or initiating a call for technical support. Typically, they will want remote control of your computer. Never let someone remote control your computer unless you know 100% it is NOT a scam! Here is a list of links to phone support pages for various products.
